If you like my work but don't see the best painting for your home or office, please consider a commissioned painting. I do many commissions and it is nice to get the painting of your dreams. I can use your room color pallette using paint swatches and trim from your furnishings to make a painting fit into your decor. I can order custom canvas sizes for you.

Creating original landscape paintings is my life’s work. Recording the land I love so much from the depth of my soul is my gift. When you own an original painting by an artist who truly understands and loves the subject they paint, you have something precious and rare, that no one else will ever have. Creating a one of a kind painting is very special.

I am excited by the landscape and all of its mysteries. From the North Carolina mountains to the deep swamps of Alabama, Georgia and Florida. I love them all and it is a privilege to record them on canvas.

About the Linda Blondheim Art Studio

You can see samples of my paintings here, and visit the Paintings section for more that are available in my art studio for your collection. One of the great satisfactions of being a professional artist is to have someone fall in love with a painting and make it part of their life.

If you don't find one that excites you, consider having me create a unique painting for you. Perhaps there is a special place, a beloved pet or an event you want. Visit the Commissions section to learn how to get the perfect painting.

Another important part of my creative life is sharing my experiences and teaching others that have a love for painting. I teach mostly out of my studio near Gainesville Florida. A few times a year I also teach workshops at various locations. These usually have a specific topic and are for artists of all levels. You can see about these by going to the Workshop section.

The Linda Blondheim Art Studio is a busy place, but provides joyful times with my art friends and students. There's always something happening, and I keep you informed about this artist life in my Studio News section.

Other artists and art collectors often ask my advice about art. I've begun doing some career coaching, and have developed some useful materials to assist artists in their quest for artistic progress. The Art Resources section includes various options from which to choose.

The Annual Chili Party-North Central Florida Ranches and Farms

Come join me in my studio for this fun annual event. I will have lots of new paintings to share with you. This year's theme will be paintings from North Central Florida Ranches and Farms. I am painting a lot in the Evinston, County Road 320, and Lacrosse areas on cattle ranches and farms. These pastoral scenes make lovely subjects for paintings. I'll have a variety of sizes to see. Come have a bowl of chili and enjoy the paintings. Let's catch up on each other's news. Just in time for Valentine's Day!!
